OptionsHouse provides customer support via phone, email, and live chat. The staff appears to be very knowledgeable and they are certainly helpful. It can be something of a chore to connect to live chat as you have to input a fair amount of details, but this is a very minor issue.

TradeMonster completed merger with another discount brokerage house, Optionshouse, which later was acquired by ETRADE. ETRADE recently got acquired by Morgan Stanley. If you’re looking for affordable trading at it’s best, you owe it to yourself to look beyond the “brand name” brokers and consider OptionsHouse. Ever since OptionsHouse merged with TradeMonster Mint.com has not updated its software to pull correct data. I only have one account with OptionsHouse, but after the merger it shows 1) a paper trading account worth $100K that doesn't exist (which I've hidden from Mint), 2) a "Live Account Value" account that shows the true total value of my account but doesn't pull any transaction history or Optionshouse started using the Trademonster platform.
